I love how this post is just a reflection of Joss Whedon’s awesomeness! He really is amazing- from Buffy the Vampire Slayer(I spent junior high obsessed), to Angel, Firefly, and Dr.Horrible, Whedon is interesting and creative and totally unafriad of taking risk.

My favorite thing about him aside from his terrific sense of humour is that he understands character development. His characters are always growing and changing and he is unafraid of taking them to dark places. I am really excited to see what he does with Avengers!

And after all that, the original subject of my post was suppose to be that I really enjoyed Cabin in the Woods.

I AM STUCK ON AN ISLAND THAT ISN’T PLAYING TCITW!!! I am on the verge of swimming to the mainland, I want to see this so badly.

But seriously, Whedon is the best. Buffy changed my life FOR REAL, and Firefly, Serenity, Dr. Horrible and everything he creates or contributes to is just amazing, especially when it comes to female characters. I can’t believe that Serenity only cost $40 million – except I can, because Joss can do anything. I love him so much.

Ah, sorry for the rant. None of my friends where I am now like him, and they keep teasing me! It’s nice to be among fellow fans again.

I am IN LOVE with Joss Whedon. Have been since Buffy (the silent episode was brilliant). As a fan of both Horror movies and Joss Whedon, I went into The Cabin in the Woods with extremely high expectations. They were exceeded.
