Agree- Katie Holmes has jacked legs, especially calf to ankle. She also has height, enviable abs, and a lovely face. Why she doesn't emphasize those features while downplaying her legs is a mystery.

Well obviously I disagree about Zombieland, but you're entitled to that opinion. I know it annoyed other people, you're not alone in that.

James Franco just has that perma-stoned look, combined with exhaustion. He's overworking himself. I don't sympathize, because no one is forcing him to work on top of attending 17 different school programs. But the pasty/paleness is down to tiredness. I don't know that he'll ever reach Movie Star status, especially now that's irking people with his "I am an ARTISTE" bit.

You're definitely right about Momoa > Sam Worthington. Sam Worthington is the human equivalent of a cardboard cutout. He is so uninteresting.

As for Anton Yelchin/Elijah Wood, I'm going to totally disagree. Wood did what Ryan Gosling did--at the height of his popularity, Wood walked away for a couple years. He hasn't been "Mark Hamiled" at all. Wood will get plenty of work--people like him and he's talented. Are you watching Wilfred? He's fantastic on Wilfred. Anton Yelchin is going to have a nice career of his own, but thanks to LOTR money, Wood will always be in the position to only work when he wants to, and I'm not sure he wants to be some huge star. He always said he'd milk LOTR for everything it was worth because he'd "never have this again". I don't think Wood *wants* a massive career. Getting to do what he wants is his endgame. Whereas Yelchin is kind of pursuing a more mainstream route. They'll both be fine.

Several points to make:

Im fighting you over Zombieland. I realize it was a zombie movie as driven by a hipsteer-geek, but I couldnt stand that flick and Im offended whenever someone dares to compare it to Shaun of the Dead. Shaun of the Dead was witty, cleverly structured and made several subtle points about growing up, responsibility, and living your life.

Zombieland....was just fracking annoying. And a few chuckles aside, seemed to come across as very self referential and hipster pretentious. I also found Jesse Eisenberg's character insufferable. Im not saying he is a bad actor, Im saying his character was just damned annoying, which is a shame because Im sure the character was written as portryaed- which means he was intentionally annoying. Perhaps I just have issues with geek-hipsters as heroes in a story to begin with, which very much could be the case. And the Bill Murray cameo which could have been funny was ultimately pointless and boring, imo. So naw, I hated Zombieland.

Speaking of prententious, I happened to catch James Franco on the View..he looked HORRIBLE. Pale and pasty like he hadnt slept in days, the man looked wrecked. And Im not entirely sure he was sober. Just...something about him...I for the life of me can't figure out why people think he is a movie star. He is handsome enough, and talented enough but something about him just leaves me flat. Imo he has little screen presence and zero charisma. I just, this latest crop of male stars I just can't with them.

Jason Momoa....Id hit it til it stopped moving! And as a long time G.R.R. Martin reader, I was skeptical that he could portray Drogo. I felt he was too pretty to be fierce, but he suprised me and proved me wrong. He is a much more effective actor than I gave him credit for and he ,imo, has tremendous screen presence. So, even though I have no expectation of Conan being a great movie, it can't be worse than Clash of the Titans and Sam Worthington. If Im going to see a terrible movie, at least let there be a sexy leading man for me to drool over.

Anton Yelchin....my friend and I had a discussion the other day( we are always having a discussion). I said to her that Anton Yelchin is having the career that Elijah Wood didnt get to have.
They share some similarties- both baby faced with flawless skin, gorgeous eyes and blessed with pretty. So what sets them apart? 3 inches.3 inches and a square jaw. Poor Elijah...hollywood doesnt know what to do with short pretty men. Anton Yelchin needs to thank god everyday for 3 inches and just enough square in the jaw to throw in some masculinity with his pretty. Not to mention poor Elijah got saddled with the Mark Hamil Syndrome.

Still reading but need to get this comment out first. I think it was NextMovie that published an article titled either "Why Jason Bateman is underrated" or "Why is Jason Bateman underrated." Second, Ryan and Jason appeared on the Today Show together and they played off each other hilariously. Actually made me want to see the movie bc they had such good chemistry.

*warning: non movie related rant. sorry*

Thank you for your mention on Katie Holmes legs. Seriously. She really does have the most unfortunate legs. I get it. We all don't have legs like Cameron Diaz or a face like Angelina ... but we also all aren't models and actresses.

I'm not sure what's more shameful.... that she has no real friends to tell her, or, as a woman in her early 30's she hasn't figured out her own best/worst assets and learned how to work with them.
